Questions, answered
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your billing portal — you keep access until the end of the current billing period, then drop to Free. Your settings stay saved and reactivate if you re-subscribe later. Cancellation stops future charges only; we don't issue mid-cycle refunds.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — Silver subscribers can upgrade to Gold any time from the Settings → Subscription tab. Stripe charges the prorated difference today and bills the new amount on your next renewal. Downgrades are scheduled at the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods do you take?
Stripe handles checkout — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and most regional methods. We never see or store your card.
Is there a free trial?
Free is the trial. The Refining calculator is fully usable on Free — including settings sync if you sign in. Subscribe when you decide the upgrades are worth it.
Do prices include tax?
Stripe adds applicable VAT or sales tax at checkout based on your country. The plan price is the base before tax.
What about future tools?
Anything we ship after launch is included in the tier it lands in — no upcharges for new tools.
